Filled with Lavender

I think this would be very sweet filled with lavender and hung on a bed post.

My Daughter does not look here so I can post a picture of what will be her Birthday Pillow next October....

Not to be confused with a country in Northern Europe! I have spent the day sewing and finishing the myriad of pillows, pockets, fobs and ornaments I stitched in the last few months. Tomorrow I will photograph and put them here. Some are my own designs, several are Shepherds Bush, of course, and some I can not recall the designer!

There is something satisfying about completeing them.....it inspires me ...j

Pay It Forward

Hello and Good Day.....
As I have been the recipient of the lovely idea of Pay It Forward, it is my welcome obligation to, in fact, do so.

I have decided that each entry will need to tell me of their "Most Favorite Day" ....it does not have to be elaborate and yet it needs to be true to your heart.....it may have been that first sweet kiss, the first look at a welcome child, the first time you heard "I love you". There is no wrong response....

The Deadline will be March 21....I will pick two "Winners" and send them a unique and custom designed piece that I will stitch and finish - inspired by their "Most Favorite Day"!

I don't feel as if I have fully described what I meant to show in the previous post.....the picture on the bottom is actually what I think of as the top of the Biscornu....the top picture is actually the bottom....and the middle picture is just a close up of the edge.

Biscornu Tiny Treasures

I am participating in the Tiny Treasures Exchange. My very first Biscornu is shown here.....it was more work than I thought it would be since you have to stitch a bottom and a top....It went together very easily and that was a good thing!
